Horoscope

The horoscope is a method of divination based on the position of the stars at the time of the birth of a person.

It is symbolized by a diagram of the positions, configurations and features of the moon, sun and all the planets based on the twelve constellations of the Zodiac (Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio , Sagittarius and Capricorn).

The horoscope is also known as natal card or celestial map and although the exact origin of the horoscopes is unknown, the methodology behind them (astrology) has existed for many centuries.

The sun is in charge of assigning zodiac signs to people at birth. For example, if a person is born when the sun is passing through the constellation of Capricorn, then that will be their sign. Then, the personal characteristics that person will have, will descend down from the characteristics of the animal or object of their sign.

Today's horoscopes are still a strong tool to have a good perception of people's past, present and future. A clear example is that of Nancy Reagan, who after the attempted assassination of her husband, the president of the United States Ronald Reagan in 1981 hired an astrologer to help him determine when to make public appearances and when to sign important documents.

A horoscope is the most important work and principal objective of the study of astrology. There are several types of horoscopes but basically, everyone interprets the planets, houses and the signs in a similar way, so when the universal principles and the most important energies of astrology are understood, it is possible to generate a general meaning of any kind of horoscope.
